This Magical Town is located 53 Km from the city of Aguascalientes.

Calvillo's architectural landscape includes the famous temple of the Señor del Salitre, patron saint of the town, the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Municipal Palace and large mansions.

The Guava Fair in Calvillo is one of the four most important festivals in the municipality and is held during the first days of December.

It is a great attraction and is full of tradition, since it offers a colorful popular festival, in addition to the typical grape harvest in which there is obviously an abundance of guava-based products.

Cultural and sporting events, mechanical games, cockfights, bullfights, and other events are also held in the area.

At the Guava Fair you can enjoy the Queen of the Fair Contest and there are also charro tournaments, rodeo, skirmishes, fair dances, handicraft, commercial and gastronomic expo.

Guava Fair

Calvillo is considered the second largest guava producer in the country.

To celebrate the generosity of the land and the producers of the delicious fruit, the National Guava Fair is held during the month of December.

The fair includes gastronomic tastings, cultural activities such as concerts, traditional dances and an exhibition of local handicrafts.
